Democracy & Justice Prayer Circle

Women's Retreat

Bible Reading Groups take shape throughout the year, forming naturally as people express interest — rather than on a fixed schedule.
We’ll share upcoming gatherings in the church calendar as they are planned.
If you’re interested in joining a group, we invite you to fill out the form below. We’d love to help you find a space to read, reflect, and connect with others.
The Democracy & Justice Prayer Circle is an ongoing invitation to pause in prayer for compassion, justice, wisdom, and the well-being of our communities and world. Participants are invited to pray at a time that fits naturally within their daily rhythm, helping to create a continuous circle of reflection and hope throughout the day.
Whether you pray quietly on your own, with family, or alongside friends near or far, all are welcome to take part in this shared spiritual practice.
If you would like to join the prayer circle, please contact the church office with your first name and preferred time of prayer.
For nearly three decades, the women of MUMC have gathered each year for a weekend retreat centered on reflection, connection, learning, and renewal. Over the years, these gatherings have created meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community, while continuing to welcome new voices and new experiences along the way.
Through conversation, shared meals, laughter, worship, and thoughtful programs, the retreat offers space to pause, reconnect, and grow together in faith and community.
If you would like more information about any of these gatherings or spiritual life opportunities, please use the contact form below and mention the name of the group or event you are interested in within your message.
