Children at MUMC
Growing in faith, together.
Our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children can grow in faith, build relationships and learn to care for others. Through Biblical stories, music, worship and outings, children are encouraged to explore their faith, make thoughtful choices and discover the joy of being part of a caring community.
Throughout the year, children and families can also enjoy special gatherings such as Cinema in the Courtyard & BBQ, Board Game Nights, Beach Days, the Pie Festival, Advent Evening, Valentine’s Evening and Las Posadas. Opportunities to put faith into action include beach clean-ups, making baby blankets for field workers, supporting disaster relief through UMCOR, caroling for elders and the housebound, and helping with the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

Faith also grows through action.
Throughout the year, children, youth and families can find many ways to care for others, share their talents, and take part in the wider community.
Opportunities include helping with Community Dinners, Bake & Share, and Write & Connect, along with special projects and events.
We’re also always looking for people willing to share their skills — from photography and video to audio tech support and other creative talents.
There’s a place for everyone to get involved, whatever your age, interests or experience.
